Review guidelines & evidence checks
Updated 2 November 2026
Who can review?
A confirmed PropPlanets account can submit one review per firm, describing its holder’s own trading experience. You do not need to have passed a challenge or received a payout; genuine evaluation experiences, including failed challenges, can be reviewed. Reviews are not rewarded based on their rating.
What evidence is required?
Upload a private JPG or PNG trading-history screenshot showing the named firm, executed trades and a name or alias that plausibly links the account to you. A purchase receipt alone is insufficient. Remove account numbers, balances, contact details, payment details and other people’s information before submitting. Never send IDs, passwords, API keys or access tokens. If the connection to your trading experience is unclear, the operator may decline the review and ask for a clearer, redacted submission.
How are reviews checked?
An authorized administrator opens the private screenshot, checks the firm, evidence of executed trades and plausible connection to the reviewer, and checks the public text for unnecessary private information, advertising, abuse and unsupported allegations. Positive and negative reviews use the same criteria. Affiliate relationships are not a moderation criterion. Moderators can approve or decline/hide a review, with a reason available to its author; they cannot rewrite its text or star value. A rejection can be questioned through Report an error or support@propplanets.com.
Limits of the evidence check
The check is a manual screenshot review. It is not identity certification, a direct connection to a provider’s account records, a guarantee that a screenshot is authentic, a payout guarantee or endorsement of a firm. Screenshots can be manipulated.
What is public?
Approved reviews publish the display name, firm, overall stars, title/text and submission/update dates. Account email, user ID, private screenshot and moderation notes are not published. The operator can inspect the private screenshot only through the protected administration area. It is not shared with the trading firm.
How are scores calculated?
The average is the arithmetic mean of all approved overall ratings for that firm, rounded to one decimal. Each approved review has equal weight. The distribution counts the exact number of approved ratings at each star value. Pending, rejected, expired and removed reviews do not count. The same approved-review average and count appear on firm cards, favorites, comparisons and profiles. External ratings such as Trustpilot are not blended in or used as a fallback. Monthly community votes are separate. Approved reviews are shown six per page, newest first by default. You can filter by star rating or select oldest first; filters do not change the overall average or star distribution. Long texts can be expanded with “Read more”. No sample or imported external reviews contribute to the score.
Submitted reviews, removal and retention
Submitted reviews cannot be edited. You can see all your submissions, their status and any moderation reason under My Galaxy → My reviews. You can remove your own review there or in the firm profile. Removing the review also removes its private evidence and associated moderation records; account deletion does the same. Screenshots are removed from the active database within 30 days of submission, plus up to one hour for scheduled cleanup. Pending reviews with expired evidence require a new submission; approved reviews retain their check date. See the Privacy Policy for processing, provider/backups information and rights.
Reporting a review
Use “Report this review” below an approved review to identify an alleged policy violation, inaccurate claim, conflict of interest or accidental disclosure of private information. Explain the issue without including sensitive documents. Reports are reviewed by the operator; a report does not automatically remove a review.
